Bees have been around for millions of years and they are a critical part of the biodiversity in which we all depend. We rely on them to pollinate the food we need to survive.

Unfortunately, Bees are in decline on a global scale. Our fuzzy friends are the littlest and biggest links in our food chain and they need our help to stay busy, healthy, and productive!

Why learn about bees?

That is where our youth and bee advocates come in. It’s never too soon to begin teaching about bees. By studying honey bees and other pollinators, we can learn the importance of a healthy food supply and begin developing the skills necessary to act as stewards of theenvironment, especially helping protect the dwindling bee population.
