Let’s Toast to Summer with our new “Love to Lavender” Lemonade Mocktail

Just in time for Memorial Day and to kick off the summer, this gorgeous new Love to Lavender Lemonade mocktail made with our Classic Lemonade is sure to satisfy the increased consumer demand for lemonade and also the growing trend of adding floral notes to beverages. I just love lavender because of its fresh, relaxing aroma and I’m here to attest that it is so delicious combined with our lemonade too. Did you know lavender attracts bees like a magnet? That's because the fragrant plant has both pollen and nectar to feed them.

I’ve seen so many great recipes shared over the past year as we’ve been home more. This one is easy and fun to make. It features our Classic Lemonade, freshly made lavender syrup, fresh lemon juice, and a bit of our local favorite sparkling water, Richard’s Rainwater for just the right amount of fizz.  The vibrant lavender color of the mocktail is a show stopper.  It was actually created by steeping lavender along with dried butterfly pea flowers, both of which are favorites of bees and other pollinators.

We were super fortunate to partner with an amazing Austin mixologist named Coleman DeWayne Steagall who owns a Jitters Espresso & Spirits, a pop-up bar service made up of a small team of creatives who got their start at local coffee shops and cocktail bars. They have since found their calling to share their love of crafting beverages to be a key highlight at celebrations around our hometown.

Please watch our video above to learn more and here is the recipe below to create this mocktail. It is sure to please family and friends as we all start entertaining the idea of opening up our homes and outdoor spaces to more social gatherings. I hope everyone stays safe this summer and always.  And if you love this recipe as much as we do, please share on social and check out where to buy our Classic Lemonade for the recipe!

Lots of love to (lavender) lemonade,

Mikaila
